For the first time in its history, PUC organized a Model United Nations. MUNs take place in high schools and universities all around the world, giving students a chance to act as diplomats for one day. The PUC students got to work for months to hone their understanding of the UN Security Council processes, writing statements representing the views of the real Council’s members. Participants discussed the situation in South Sudan. The event ended in a dramatic fashion, with a 5-P member exercising its veto right.
