San Sophany is an Academic Lecturer and Gender Studies Coordinator in the Faculty of Social Sciences and International Relations. She earned her master degree in Social Science in the field of Gender and Development Studies from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. She is expert in the fields of Gender Analysis, Social Enterprise, Organizational Development, Migration and Human Trafficking in Asia, and Gender Responsive Development Planning, Gender and Development Economics, and Research Methods in Development Planning. Her research areas includes: Women in fisheries sector, gender and migration, and women’s economic empowerment.
